Elderberry Casserole

Ingredients

  • 500 g fresh elderberries
  • 4 eggs
  • 6 tbsp whipping cream
  • 8 tbsp low‑fat quark
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 8 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) with upper and lower heat. Rinse, wash, and drain the elderberries.

  2. 2.

    Whisk together the remaining ingredients, pour into two greased casserole dishes (12x20 cm each), spread the berries on top, and bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes until golden‑brown.

    Remove from the oven and serve warm.
