Egg punch with whisky from Spoonsparrow is a warming winter drink.

Ingredients

  • 40 ml whisky
  • 20 ml Drambuie (Scottish whiskey liqueur)
  • 2 tsp Honey
  • 1 egg
  • 200 ml milk
  • freshly grated nutmeg

Instructions

    Add the whisky, Drambuie, honey and whisked egg to a shaker and shake well for about ½ minute, then strain the contents into a glass.

    Heat the milk in a pot until it is almost boiling, then pour it into the glass over the other ingredients while stirring constantly with a spoon; sprinkle nutmeg to taste.
