Ingredients

  • 3 hibiscus flowers
  • 1 tsp honey (to taste more or less)
  • 0.5 untreated lemon
  • Lemon balm (for garnish)

Instructions

    Peel a few petals for garnish, add the remaining flowers to about 150 ml boiling water and simmer for 2–3 minutes until an intense red hue develops. Sweeten with honey to taste and let cool. Strain through a sieve and chill in the freezer compartment for about 10 minutes.

    Cut a slice of lemon for garnish and squeeze the juice from the rest. Mix with the tea, pour into a glass, and serve garnished with the lemon slice, remaining hibiscus petals, and lemon balm.
