Ingredients

  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 100 ml white port wine
  • 12 dates (pitted)
  • 150 g ricotta
  • 2 tbsp green tapenade
  • 12 small crackers

Instructions

    Wash the chili pepper, halve it, peel and finely chop. Peel the garlic and finely chop it. Sauté both in a small pot with oil for a short time. Deglaze with lemon juice, stir in honey and add port wine. Add the dates, bring to a boil, remove from heat and let cool in the liquid.

    Mix the ricotta with tapenade and 1-2 tsp of the liquid, then spoon a dollop onto each cracker. Remove the dates from the liquid, place them on top and serve.
