Ingredients

  • 20 g red lentils
  • 200 ml vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 25 g celery (0.5 small stalk)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 tbsp yogurt (3.5% fat)

Instructions

    Bring lentils and broth to a boil in a pot. Add curry powder and simmer covered for 6 minutes over low heat.

    Meanwhile, wash, drain, peel and, if necessary, remove the strings from the celery. Set the celery greens aside.

    Cut the celery into approximately 5 mm thick slices, add it to the lentils and cook for another 3-4 minutes covered.

    Rinse the celery greens, shake dry and cut into rough strips.

    Season the curry lentil soup with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with celery greens and serve with yogurt.
