Creamy Fruit Quark

Creamy fruit quark with almonds: a light breakfast, indulgent dessert or fruity snack!

Ingredients

  • 200 g oranges (1 orange)
  • 100 g dried fruit (e.g., apricots, plums, apple rings, figs)
  • 10 g chopped almonds (1 tbsp)
  • 10 g pine nuts (1 tbsp)
  • 250 g low-fat quark
  • 2 tbsp sparkling mineral water

Instructions

    Halve the oranges and squeeze out the juice.

    Finely dice the dried fruit. Pour orange juice over it and let the mixture steep for about 15 minutes.

    Meanwhile, roast the almonds and pine nuts in a non-stick pan without fat until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Transfer to a plate and let them cool slightly.

    Whisk the quark with sparkling mineral water until creamy, then fold in the fruit cubes along with their liquid.

    Serve the fruit quark in glasses and sprinkle with roasted almonds and pine nuts.
