Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 250 ml sour cream (min. 10%)
- 50 g sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 150 g flour
- 8 Tbsp plum jam (Powidl)
- 250 ml whipping cream (min. 30%)
- butter clarified oil for frying
- powdered sugar
- cinnamon powder
Instructions

Separate the eggs. Whisk the sour cream with the yolks, sugar and salt. Stir in the flour. Beat the egg whites to stiff peaks and fold them into the mixture.

Heat 1 Tbsp clarified butter in a pan. Drop spoonfuls of dough (about 2–3 dumplings at once in a large pan) into the hot fat and fry for 1–2 minutes on each side until golden brown, adding more fat if needed.

Whip the cream to stiff peaks. Layer the dumplings with plum jam and whipped cream. Dust with powdered sugar and cinnamon before serving.
