Ingredients
- 100 g couscous (instant)
- 140 ml vegetable broth
- 400 g mixed ground meat
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 50 g Pine nuts
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped mint
- Salt
- pepper (ground)
- 500 g plant oil (for frying)
- 300 g plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp crème fraîche
- 0.5 tsp liquid honey

Place the couscous in a bowl, pour boiling vegetable broth over it and let it swell for about 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork and knead in the ground meat, egg, breadcrumbs, and pine nuts. Fold in half of the mint and season with salt and pepper.

Heat the oil in a pot. Using two tablespoons, scoop portions of the mixture and fry them in the hot oil until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Mix the yogurt with crème fraîche, honey, and mint; season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Arrange the meatballs on plates and serve with the dip.
