Cooked Cucumbers with Dill

Cooked cucumbers with dill from Spoonsparrow are a great and quick dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 large cooked cucumber (or 2 salad cucumbers)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp whole wheat flour
- 125 ml milk (3.5% fat)
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 5 sprigs dill

Peel the cucumber, cut it lengthwise in half, remove seeds and slice into finger-thick rounds.

Melt butter in a pan, stir in flour, sauté briefly, then whisk in milk. Bring to a boil, add cucumber pieces, cook over low heat while stirring occasionally for about 15 minutes.

Meanwhile squeeze lemon juice, wash dill, shake dry and chop. Season cooked cucumbers with salt, pepper, and lemon juice, garnish with dill tips before serving.
