Colorful Pasta with Asparagus

- 500 g colorful colored farfalle
- 500 g Green Asparagus
- butter
- 200 ml heavy cream
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 1 tbsp basil (finely chopped)

Gently melt 2 tbsp butter into the cream. Simmer over low heat and reduce by about half. Season with salt and pepper, then fold in the basil.

Wash the asparagus, trim the woody ends, cut lengthwise in half, then crosswise once more.

Bring plenty of salted water to a boil and blanch the asparagus for 10-15 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and add the noodles to the boiling asparagus water. If needed, add a bit more water, bring back to a boil, season, and cook the noodles al dente. Drain. Mix with 1 tbsp butter and the asparagus. Serve immediately on preheated plates, drizzle with basil sauce, and serve right away.
