Coffee Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 400 ml freshly brewed strong coffee
  • 40 g brown sugar (2 tbsp)
  • 0.5 Vanilla bean
  • 2 sprigs Mint
  • 2 Bananas
  • 20 g almond kernels (2 tbsp)
  • 6 ice cubes

Instructions

    Mix coffee with sugar. Slice the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds.

    Add the vanilla seeds and bean to the coffee and let steep for 5 minutes.

    Remove the vanilla bean and allow the coffee to cool. Then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

    Meanwhile wash and dry the mint. Cut 4 banana slices for garnish.

    Peel the remaining bananas and blend them with the cooled coffee and almonds in a blender until smooth. Add ice cubes and blend until they are roughly crushed.

    Pour the smoothie into two glasses and garnish with banana slices and mint.
