Cod Gratin with Chili and Lemon

- 1 lemon
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 800 g cod fillet
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 2 red chili peppers
- 125 ml robust fish stock
- 3 eggs
- fresh dill (for garnish)

Peel the lemon and slice it thinly. Peel the garlic and slice it thinly. Divide the fish into portions.

Preheat the oven to 180°C with both fan and top heating.

Place the cod fillets with the lemon and garlic slices in a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper. Wash the chili peppers, deseed them and remove white membranes. Slice one pepper into fine strips; blend the other pepper with fish stock and eggs in a blender, season heavily with salt and pepper, and pour over the fish.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes. Serve sprinkled with dill sprigs and chili strips.
