Ingredients

  • 100 g dates
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 100 g orange honey
  • 120 g shredded coconut
  • 2 tsp grated orange zest
  • 30 g flour
  • 30 baking wafers (4 cm diameter)

Instructions

    Pit the dates and dice them finely. Beat the egg whites with the salt until stiff, gradually folding in the honey.

    Mix shredded coconut, diced dates, orange zest, and flour; fold into the batter. Drop spoonfuls onto the wafers on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 10–12 minutes.
