Coconut Fruit Salad

A refreshing fruit salad featuring fresh ingredients from the fruit salad category. Try this and other recipes from Spoonsparrow!

Ingredients

  • 1 cantaloupe melon
  • 1 ripe Mango
  • 1 small ripe pineapple
  • 0.5 Papaya
  • 0.5 freshly opened coconut
  • 0.5 lemon (juice)
  • 3 tbsp white rum
  • physalis (for garnish)

Instructions

    Halve the melon, remove the core, cut into wedges, peel and dice into bite-sized pieces. Peel the mango, separate the flesh from the pit and cube it. Peel the pineapple all around, quarter it, remove the stem and cut the flesh into chunks.

    Peel the papaya, remove the seeds and also cut into bite-sized pieces. Mix the coconut with the rum. Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes. Fill glasses and serve garnished with Physalis.
