- 500 g flour
- 2 tsp Baking powder

Instructions

1.
Preheat the oven to 180°C fan. Grease a loaf pan with butter and dust with flour. Beat the butter with sugar and salt until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, stirring until pale and creamy. Mix flour and baking powder together, then add to batter with milk and stir. If dough is too stiff, add a little more milk. Pour 1/3 of the batter into the pan. Mix remaining batter with cocoa and 2–3 tbsp milk. Spoon dark batter over light batter in pan, then top with remaining light batter. Bake in preheated oven for 50–60 minutes (test with skewer). Remove, cool briefly, then unmold onto a cooling rack.
