Ingredients
- soft butter (for the baking dish)
- soft sugar (for the baking dish)
- 350 g cherries
- 150 g flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 300 ml milk
- 4 eggs
- powdered sugar (to dust)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan-forced. Butter a casserole dish and sprinkle with sugar.

Wash, pit, and distribute the cherries in the dish.

Whisk flour with salt, vanilla sugar, and milk until smooth. Add eggs and whisk into a liquid batter. Pour over the cherries and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.

Remove from oven and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
