Ingredients

  • 1 Ciabatta
  • 1 boiled egg
  • 1 pickled cucumber
  • 1 tsp drained capers
  • 4 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp yogurt
  • Salt
  • pepper (from grinder)
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 4 leaves lettuce
  • 250 g roast beef (sliced)
  • 200 g cheese slice (e.g. Gouda)

Instructions

    Slice the ciabatta horizontally. Peel and chop the boiled egg. Finely chop the pickled cucumber and capers. Mix the egg, 1 tbsp pickled cucumber water with mayonnaise and yogurt. Season with salt and pepper. Wash the tomatoes, cut off stems, slice into rounds.

    Clean, wash, drain, and tear the lettuce into pieces. Spread the mayo mixture on the lower ciabatta half. Layer roast beef slices, cheese, lettuce pieces, and tomato rounds. Top with the upper ciabatta half. Cut into four portions and serve.
