Christmas Tiramisu with Figs

This Christmas Tiramisu with figs from Spoonsparrow makes a delightful finale to the holiday menu.
Ingredients
- 300 g low‑fat quark
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp vanilla powder
- 2 tsp orange zest
- 250 g mascarpone
- 250 g naturally sweetened whole‑grain gingerbread (see tip)
- 150 ml cooled coffee
- 2 tbsp Orange juice
- 2 figs
- 4 tbsp cocoa powder

Beat the quark with honey, vanilla powder and orange zest using an electric hand mixer for a few minutes until creamy. Gently fold in the mascarpone.

Crush the gingerbread into crumbs in a bowl. Mix the coffee with the orange juice. Distribute one‑third of the gingerbread crumbs over eight small dessert glasses and drizzle with one‑third of the coffee mixture. Cover with one‑third of the mascarpone cream. Layer two more sets of gingerbread, coffee mixture, and mascarpone cream on top, then refrigerate until serving.

Just before serving, wash the figs and slice them. Dust the tiramisu with cocoa powder and garnish each glass with a fig slice.
