The walnut cookies with honey from Spoonsparrow taste great not just at Christmas!
Ingredients
- 150 g butter (room temperature)
- 100 g honey
- 0.5 tsp vanilla powder
- 2 Eggs
- 175 g rolled oats
- 75 g chopped walnuts
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp Baking powder
- 30 g spelt whole‑grain flour (2 tbsp)
- 2 tbsp milk (3.5% fat)
Instructions

Beat butter with honey and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs and whisk until frothy. Then add the remaining ingredients, mix well and let rest for about 30 minutes.

Using two teaspoons, drop small dough balls spaced apart onto a parchment‑lined baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (fan 160 °C; gas: level 2–3) for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
