Ingredients
- 600 g pork belly (lean, cured)
- 800 g sauerkraut
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 onions
- Salt
- Pepper
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 1 can white beans (thick)

Bring the pork belly to a boil in about 1 l of salted water, then simmer for 45 minutes over low heat. Remove and chop into small pieces. Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic. Roughly chop the sauerkraut. Heat 2 tbsp butter in a pot, sauté the onions, garlic, and sauerkraut.

Add 2 cups of meat broth and let simmer for about 25 minutes over low heat, seasoning with salt and pepper. After about 10 minutes, drain the beans and add them with the pork to the cabbage, cooking together until heated through. Plate on dishes and serve.
