Chocolate Pear Dessert

The Chocolate Pear Dessert by Spoonsparrow combines two popular flavors in a successful way.
Ingredients
- 100 g dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
- 100 ml coconut milk
- 4 ripe pears (about 100 g each)
- 30 g margarine
- 2 tbsp date syrup (about 15 g)
- 0.25 tsp vanilla powder
- 1 pinch fleur de sel
- 2 spelt speculaas cookies (vegan)
Instructions

Chop the chocolate and place it in a heat‑proof bowl. Bring the coconut milk to a boil in a pot, pour over the chocolate, cover and let stand for about 5 minutes. Then mix with an immersion blender until smooth; set aside and cool for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile peel, quarter, core and dice the pears. Heat the margarine in a pan. Stir in the date syrup, then add the pear cubes, vanilla powder and a pinch of fleur de sel. Simmer everything over medium heat for about 5 minutes; remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes.

Fill four glasses with pears and pour the chocolate sauce over them. Sprinkle crushed speculaas on top of the dessert.
