Ingredients

  • 300 g marzipan dough
  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • 20 ml orange liqueur
  • powdered sugar (for rolling)
  • 150 g couverture chocolate

Instructions

    Coarsely chop the chocolate and melt it over a hot, non-boiling water bath. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

    Knead the marzipan dough with powdered sugar and orange liqueur. Roll out on lightly sugared surface to 1 cm thickness and cut 20 hearts.

    Dip each heart into chocolate using a praline fork, let excess drip off, then sprinkle with pistachios, lingonberries, lavender, etc., if desired. Let dry on a cooling rack before serving.
