Chocolate Cream

Ingredients

  • 150 g whole milk chocolate
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 40 ml whisky
  • 2 tsp grated orange zest
  • 400 g whipping cream
  • cocoa powder (for dusting)
  • chocolate shavings

Instructions

    Melt both chocolates in a double boiler. Whisk the egg and yolk with powdered sugar over the double boiler until thickened. Add chocolate and stir.

    Fold in whisky and orange zest, let cool slightly. Beat cream to stiff peaks and gently fold into cooled mixture. Divide into glasses or bowls and chill for about 3 hours. Dust with cocoa and sprinkle chocolate shavings before serving.
