Chocolate Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 120 g butter
  • 230 g sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 45 g whole wheat flour
  • 135 g flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 3 tbsp chopped hazelnuts
  • 3 tbsp dark chocolate chips

Instructions

    Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Peel the bananas and mash them in a bowl with a fork.

    Cream the butter with the sugar, then add the eggs and mashed bananas. Mix the flours and baking soda together and fold them into the batter gently. Finally stir in the chopped hazelnuts and chocolate chips. Pour the finished batter into the prepared loaf pan.

    Place the banana bread with chocolate in the preheated oven and bake at 180 °C (fan 160 °C, gas: level 2–3) for 50–60 minutes. Check with a toothpick, remove from the oven and let it cool.
