Chinese Beef Stir-Fry with Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 500 g sliced beef
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 2 carrots
  • 100 g glass mushrooms (Mu-Err)
  • 1 onion
  • 4 Spring Onions
  • 2 handfuls bean sprouts
  • 2 tbsp peanut oil
  • 2 tbsp rice wine
  • 2 tbsp Light soy sauce

Instructions

    Rinse the beef and pat dry. Wash, halve, trim, and chop the bell peppers. Peel and finely julienne the carrots. Pat the mushrooms dry and slice into strips. Dice the onion. Trim and slice the spring onions into rings. Rinse the bean sprouts and drain.

    Briefly sear the beef in hot oil until colorless. Add the carrots and onions, stir-frying for 1-2 minutes. Incorporate the bell peppers, mushrooms, spring onions, and bean sprouts. Add rice wine and soy sauce, stirring to combine and cook together for another 2-3 minutes.

    Season to taste and serve on individual bowls.
