Chili Linguine

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon (unprocessed)
  • 200 g Italian cooking cream (1 pack)
  • 5 tbsp vegetable broth (instant)
  • 1 tbsp Grappa
  • Salt
  • pepper from grinder
  • 500 g linguine
  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 2 tsp oil

Instructions

    Rinse the lemon and peel its zest; cut the zest into fine strips. Fillet the lemon.

    Whisk the cream with vegetable broth in a pot. Add the lemon zest and Grappa, bring to a brief boil while stirring. Season with salt and pepper. Fold in the lemon fillets.

    Cook the linguine in plenty of salted water according to package directions until al dente. Meanwhile, clean the chili pepper, rinse it, and slice into rings. Heat oil and quickly sauté the chili rings.

    Drain the noodles and let them dry slightly. Mix with the lemon-cream sauce and the chili rings, then serve.
