Ingredients

  • 16 chicken wings
  • 1 piece ginger (6 cm)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 4 Spring Onions
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • acacia honey
  • butterclarified butter or ghee

Instructions

    Wash the chicken wings, pat dry, season with salt and pepper, then mix in 1-2 tbsp honey. Peel and chop the ginger and garlic. Wash, trim and slice the spring onions. Heat 2 tbsp clarified butter in a large pan over medium heat and brown the wings all around until caramelized.

    Reduce the heat, add the ginger and garlic, and cook briefly. Pour in 100 ml water, season with salt and pepper, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Add the spring onions five minutes before the end of cooking. If needed, pour in another 1-2 tbsp water. Serve immediately.
