Chicken Wings with Chili Dip

Ingredients
- 1.5 kg chicken wings
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- oil (for the baking tray)
- 1 orange
- 4 tbsp red chili sauce (for chicken)
- 1 fresh ginger (walnut-sized piece)
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
Instructions

Trim the tips of the chicken wings with scissors and set aside for another use.

Cut through each wing at the joint with a sharp knife.

Season the wings with salt and pepper, spread them on an oiled baking tray, and bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for about 20-25 minutes, turning once.

Meanwhile, squeeze the orange to extract its juice and mix it with the chili sauce. Clean, wash, and finely chop scallions.

Peel the ginger and finely chop it as well.

Stir the chopped scallions, ginger, and soy sauce into the chili sauce mixture.

Remove the wings from the oven, place them in a large bowl, and fold in 1-2 tbsp of the chili sauce.

Serve the chicken wings with the remaining chili sauce.
