Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 600 g apricots
  • 1 pinch cloves
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 300 ml chicken broth
  • 4 tbsp apple juice

Instructions

    Wash the apricots, halve them, remove pits and cut into pieces. Wash the chili pepper, slit it lengthwise, deseed and slice into rings. Peel the onion and cut into thin strips.

    Place the chicken thighs in a roasting pan. Mix the broth with 2 tbsp apple juice and pour over the meat; season with salt and pepper. Cover and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes. Then brush the remaining apple juice on the chicken, add apricots, chili and onions, and roast uncovered for about 20 minutes, seasoning with lemon juice, salt, pepper and cloves.

    Arrange the chicken thighs with sauce and fruit on a plate.
