Chicken Thighs with Broccoli, Sesame and Lemon

Chicken thighs with broccoli, sesame and lemon from ➸ Spoonsparrow are always really good.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs (pre‑cooked)
  • Salt
  • ground pepper
  • 2 untreated lemons
  • 600 g Broccoli florets
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • olive oil
  • 100 ml dry white wine
  • 120 ml poultry stock
  • 2 tbsp light sesame seeds

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180 °C with top and bottom heat.

    Wash, pat dry, split each thigh at the joint, season with salt and pepper.

  3. 3.

    Rinse lemons under hot water, pat dry, cut into bite‑sized pieces.

    Wash broccoli, trim, chop into small florets, blanch in boiling salted water for about 4 minutes, shock in cold water, drain well. Crush garlic cloves and add them with lemons, broccoli and chicken to a greased baking dish. Pour wine and stock over the mixture, sprinkle sesame seeds on top, and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 45 minutes.
