Ingredients

  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 300 g chicken cutlets
  • 1 Tbsp clarified butter
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • paprika powder (sweet)
  • 1 small chili pepper (to taste)
  • 100 ml chicken broth
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 stalk basil

Instructions

    Wash the bell peppers, halve them, remove the stem and slice into strips. Peel the onion and garlic clove and cut both into strips as well. Wash the chili, halve it, deseed, remove the inner membranes and dice finely. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the vegetables, pour in the broth and simmer gently for 3 minutes, seasoning with paprika, salt and pepper.

    Meanwhile, season the chicken cutlets with salt and pepper and cook them in clarified butter in a grill pan until golden brown on both sides (about 7 minutes). Slice the meat into strips and mix it with the vegetables. Serve as fajitas.
