Chicken Burger

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast fillets (about 120 g each)
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Paprika powder (sweet)
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch Curry powder
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • salt to taste
  • 4 burger buns (optional sesame seeds)
  • 1 handful Arugula
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 4 Tbsp mayonnaise

Instructions

    Rinse the chicken, pat dry and flatten with a meat mallet. Whisk together oil, paprika, cayenne pepper, curry and lemon juice; brush over the chicken breasts. Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to marinate. Grill the chicken on a hot grill for 6–8 minutes per side until cooked through; season with salt.

    Halve the buns horizontally and toast the cut sides golden brown.

    Wash, trim and dry the arugula. Wash the tomatoes, remove stems and slice them thinly.

    Spread mayonnaise on the bottom halves of the buns, layer with chicken, arugula and tomato slices, top with the bun lids, and serve immediately.
