Chicken Breast with Asparagus
Hähnchenbrust mit Spargel: Jetzt dürfen auch die schlemmen, die gerade auf Diät sind: Mit nur 7 g Fett und ca. 300 Kalorien kann man nichts falsch machen.
Ingredients
- 12 oz Chicken breast fillets (2 chicken breast fillets)
- Salt
- Pepper
- 14 oz Green asparagus
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 3.5 oz cherry tomatoes
- 6 sprigs Basil
- 3.5 oz Vegetable broth
- 0.25 Lemon
Instructions

Wash the chicken breast fillets, pat them dry with kitchen paper, and season with salt and pepper.

Heat a grill pan, and cook the fillets for 2 minutes on each side. Place them in a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (150°C fan, Gas: Mark 2) for 8-10 minutes until cooked through.

Meanwhile, wash the asparagus, trim the ends, peel the asparagus down to the lower third, and cut it diagonally into 3 cm long pieces.

Heat oil in a non-stick pan and fry the asparagus over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.

Wash and halve the tomatoes. Wash, shake dry, and pluck the leaves from the basil.

Add the tomatoes and broth to the asparagus, season with salt and pepper, and let the vegetables cook for 2 minutes.

Squeeze half a lemon. Remove the chicken breast fillets from the oven, slice them thinly, and drizzle with 2 tbsp of lemon juice.

Add basil leaves to the asparagus and arrange with the chicken breast fillets.
