Ingredients
- 600 g cherry juice
- 400 ml red wine
- 100 ml port wine
- 250 ml cherry juice
- 1 vanilla pod
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- freshly sliced mint

Wash and pit the cherries.

Bring the red wine, port wine, cherry juice, split vanilla pod, lemon juice, and sugar to a gentle boil. Simmer gently for about 10 minutes. Dissolve the starch in 2-3 tbsp cold water and stir into the soup while stirring. Let thicken slightly and remove from heat. Stir in the cherries and let cool. Chill in the refrigerator for about an hour before serving.
