Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tsp bourbon vanilla
  • 80 g flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 150 ml milk
  • 500 g cherries
  • butter (for the pan)

Instructions

    Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla with a hand mixer until frothy. Add flour, salt, baking powder and milk to the egg mixture. Let rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Wash and pit cherries.

    Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a glass dish. Pour one-third of the batter into the dish, spread cherries on top, then pour the remaining batter over them. Bake for 40 minutes until golden brown.
