Cevapcici with Vegetable Sauce

Ingredients
- 3 Garlic cloves
- 500 g ground beef
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1.5 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 0.5 tsp hot paprika powder
- Salt
- ground pepper
- paprika peppers (½ small red, green and yellow each)
- 3 shallots
- 750 g tomatoes
- 3 tbsp olive oil
Instructions

Peel 2 garlic cloves and press them into the ground beef in a bowl.

With 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp water, both paprika varieties, salt, and pepper, knead into a smooth dough.

Using wet hands, shape 16 small rolls of about 8 cm length.

Wash, clean, halve, seed, remove all white membranes from the peppers and dice very finely.

Peel and finely dice the shallots and remaining garlic.

Blanch tomatoes, peel them, and cut into small cubes.

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pot and sauté the shallots over medium heat for 3 minutes.

Add peppers, shallots, and garlic and sauté for another 2 minutes.

Add tomatoes and simmer while stirring for 20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Heat a pan. Brush the cevapcici with a little oil and fry all around for 10 minutes.

Serve with the paprika-tomato sauce.
