Ingredients

  • 500 g Ricotta
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp Maraschino liqueur
  • 70 g dark chocolate
  • 80 g candied fruit
  • 150 g light sponge cake base
  • 120 g whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • candied cherries
  • chocolate shavings

  • powdered sugar

Instructions

    Whisk the ricotta in a bowl until creamy, then fold in vanilla sugar, powdered sugar and liqueur. Roughly chop the chocolate, dice the candied fruit, and add them to the mixture. Line a wide loaf pan with parchment paper.

    Slice the sponge cake into 1 cm thick layers and use them to line the bottom and sides of the pan; spread the ricotta cream over the layers, cover with cling film, and refrigerate overnight.
