Ingredients

  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 6 untreated oranges

Instructions

    Bring the sugar, lemon juice and 150 ml water to a boil in a pot and simmer for about 5 minutes.

    Rinse the oranges hot, pat dry, peel thinly and let the peels soak in the syrup for several minutes.

    Preheat the oven to 100°C (200°F) with both top and bottom heat.

    Place the peels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the preheated oven for about 2-3 hours until dried.
