Ingredients
- 1 head romaine lettuce
- 150 g Jarlsberg (® for garnish, sliced or shaved)
- 1 egg yolk
- 4 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp neutral-flavored oil (sunflower or rapeseed)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 120 g Jarlsberg (®, grated)
- 3 tbsp milk
- 4 anchovies
- salt and pepper
Instructions

Whisk the egg yolk with vinegar and garlic. Slowly drizzle in the oils, stirring continuously. Fold in all remaining ingredients—except the Jarlsberg® reserved for garnish. The dressing can also be made in a blender.

Tear the lettuce head apart, wash the leaves, pat dry, and arrange on serving plates. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and top with Jarlsberg® strips or slices.
