Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 small piece ginger
  • 200 g smoked ham
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • Salt
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce

Instructions

    Wash the cabbage, halve it and cut into 3‑4 cm long pieces. Peel the onion and slice into thin rings. Separate the garlic cloves and press them through a press. Peel the ginger and finely chop it. Cut the smoked ham into small cubes.

    Heat the oil in a large pot. Sauté the onions and bacon while stirring. Add the garlic and ginger. Add the cabbage pieces and cook for 3 minutes, turning occasionally. Season with salt, pour in the soy sauce and 150 ml water. Cover and let everything simmer for 3 more minutes.
