Ingredients

  • 250 g White cabbage
  • 250 g red cabbage
  • 150 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 2 pickles
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp Plain yogurt
  • pepper (ground)
  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts
  • 2 tbsp freshly chopped dill

Instructions

    Remove the stems from both cabbages, wash and cut into fine strips or shave. Heat the vegetable broth with sugar and 1/2 tsp salt, pour over the cabbage. Add vinegar, stir well and cover for about 1 hour to marinate. If needed, drain a little liquid.

    Slice the pickles. Mix them with mayonnaise and yogurt into the salad, season with salt and pepper. Let it rest another half hour.

    Quarter the ciabatta loaf and cut each quarter horizontally in half. Fill with the salad, sprinkle walnuts and dill on top, replace the lid and serve.
