  • 150 g fresh fig
  • 50 g walnut kernels
  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 200 g Flour
  • 1.5 tsp Baking Powder
  • 140 ml buttermilk
  • caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. 1.

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan-forced. Place paper cups in a muffin tin.

  2. 2.

Wash the figs, remove stems, and dice them small. Lightly dust with flour. Roast the walnuts in a hot pan without oil until fragrant, then cool and chop.

  3. 3.

Cream the butter with sugar, then gradually fold in the eggs and a pinch of salt. Mix the flour with baking powder and alternately stir into the buttermilk and butter mixture. Finally fold in the figs and walnuts.
