Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- 100 g sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 egg
- 200 g butter
- flour (for the work surface)
- 200 g powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp Lemon juice
- colored sugar sprinkles (for decoration)
- colored sugar pearls (for decoration)
Instructions

Mix the flour with the sugar, a pinch of salt and the lemon zest; sift onto the work surface. Create a well in the center, crack the egg into it, and distribute the butter pieces around the well. Quickly knead with your hands into a smooth dough, shape into a ball, wrap in cling film, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) with upper and lower heat.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to 0.5 cm thickness and cut shapes as desired. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until light yellow. Remove, lift off the parchment, and let cool.

Meanwhile, whisk powdered sugar with lemon juice into a thick glaze and brush over the cookies. Sprinkle with sugar sprinkles and pearls and allow to dry.
