Broccoli Casserole with Potatoes and Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 600 g Broccoli florets
  • nutmeg
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 150 g ham (thicker slices)
  • 250 g cream cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 100 ml milk

Instructions

    Peel, wash, and boil the potatoes in salted water for about 25 minutes; drain and let cool.

    Peel and finely dice the onion. Sauté in hot oil until translucent. Add broccoli florets, sauté briefly. Season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper.

    Slice the potatoes into 1 cm thick rounds. Cut the ham into strips about 1 cm wide.

    Whisk cream cheese with eggs and milk; season with salt and pepper. Layer the ingredients in a greased baking dish, seasoning each layer lightly with salt and pepper, and pour the cream cheese mixture over them.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 35-45 minutes until golden brown.
