Ingredients

  • 300 g Lyoner sausage
  • 1 large white onion
  • 3 pickled cucumbers
  • 1 tbsp chives
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp horseradish
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 2 tbsp pickling liquid
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)

Instructions

    Slice the Lyoner sausage into thin strips.

    Peel the onion and cut it into fine rings.

    Cut the cucumbers into thin strips.

  4. 4.

    Whisk together vinegar, salt, sugar, mustard, horseradish, pickling liquid, and pepper; fold in the oil, taste, and combine with the sausage slices, onion rings, and cucumber strips.

    Sprinkle chives on top and serve. Offer whole-grain bread with butter on the side.
