Ingredients

  • 3 sour apples (e.g., Boskop)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 handful sage
  • 2 tbsp plant oil
  • 2 tbsp apple syrup
  • 20 g pumpkin seeds (peeled)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 4 bratwurst links

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180-200°C with top and bottom heat.

    Wash the apples, quarter them, remove the core, and slice into thin strips. Brush with lemon juice.

    Rinse the sage, shake dry, and pluck the leaves. Mix the oil with apple syrup and pumpkin seeds, season well with salt and pepper, and pour into a baking dish.

    Place the bratwurst links on top of the apple slices and grill for about 15 minutes on each side.

    Arrange the bratwurst with apple strips decoratively on plates. Serve with pumpkin puree.
