Ingredients

  • 800 g small new potatoes
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • Salt
  • 4 bratwursts (about 500 g)
  • 1 onion
  • 250 g cocktail tomatoes
  • pepper (ground)
  • 2 slices stale white bread
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Cress (for garnish)

Instructions

    Wash the potatoes and cook in salted water for about 20 minutes until tender. Let cool, then cut lengthwise in half. Slice the bratwursts slightly diagonally. Peel and slice the onion into strips. Wash the tomatoes. In a non-stick pan, fry the potatoes, onions, and sausage slices in hot oil for 5-6 minutes until golden brown. Add the tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and cook together for about 3 more minutes.

    Cube the white bread and finely mince the garlic clove. Toss both in hot butter.

    Distribute the sausage pan contents onto a plate and sprinkle with the bread cubes. Serve garnished with cress.
