Ingredients

  • 500 g red blackcurrants
  • 500 ml apple juice
  • 1 Organic lemon
  • 2 tsp red peppercorns
  • 1 kg gelatin sugar (1:1)

Instructions

    Strip the berries from the stems, wash them, and let them drain. Wash the lemon and slice it thinly. Combine the lemon slices with the apple juice and berries in a pot. Add the gelatin sugar and peppercorns. Bring to a gentle simmer over low heat. Cook for about 4 minutes.

    While still hot, fill the jars generously and seal tightly. Place the lids on top for about 10 minutes, then flip them over and let cool.
