We love berries! The blackberry liqueur from Spoonsparrow is very easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 350 g blackberries
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 0.7 l rum (54% vol)

Instructions

    Wash the berries, remove stems and place them with the sugar and cinnamon in a large vessel. Pour in the rum, seal tightly and let steep for about 5 weeks in a dark, cool place, shaking occasionally.

    Afterwards strain through a fine cloth-lined sieve into a prepared bottle. Seal well and rest for another week before serving.
