Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 Tomatoes
- Salt
- Pepper
- Tabasco
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 400 g mixed ground meat
- breadcrumbs (as needed)

For the guacamole, halve the avocados, remove the pit, scoop out the flesh with a spoon and blend with lemon juice. Dice the tomatoes into small cubes and mix into the avocado puree. Season with salt, pepper and a splash of Tabasco.

For the beefsteaks, peel and finely dice the onion. Sauté in 1 tbsp hot oil until translucent. Let cool slightly and combine with the egg and thyme into the ground meat. Add breadcrumbs as needed to make the mixture workable, then season with salt and pepper. Shape into four patties.

In a hot pan, cook the patties in the remaining oil, turning occasionally, for 6‑8 minutes until golden brown on both sides.

Serve each beefsteak topped with a dollop of guacamole, accompanied by arugula salad and sugar snap peas if desired.
